Andres Felipe Perez

General manager

Andres Perez is a professional versed in creating profitable and sustainable business models. He began his business career at a young age by building a metal fencing factory which he helped maximize before selling his shares to his former partner. Andrés then started his construction company and participated in various public and private projects throughout the country for more than 8 years. Once the pandemic began and the construction industry was deeply affected, he was able to adapt this business model to export structural designs to the United States, which is currently one of his ventures. In addition, Andrés has been running the family agricultural business for some years, which his father-in-law started 35 years ago. With their extensive experience, they now market fruits and vegetables to the largest pulp and juice producers and exporters in Colombia. Currently, Andres and his brother Gustavo saw the opportunity to help others by taking advantage of their agricultural experience and their passion for the cannabis plant and decided to start a medical cannabis farm. Teaming up with several world-renowned cannabis leaders, growers and geneticists to create the perfect environment for a high-grade cannabis cultivation operation.

Gustavo Perez

Commercial manager

Gustavo is a Colombian-Canadian entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in management consulting, financial services and business development. Gustavo's heart beats for the people and for lending a hand. He has dedicated his time to volunteering, mentoring budding entrepreneurs in Canada and supporting a team of scientists in Berlin that secured the largest grant ever from a German institution. In 2018, in the midst of the burgeoning Canadian cannabis industry, Gustavo harbored a vision of creating a sustainable cannabis company recognized for its exceptional and unwavering quality. This dream took flight when he shared his idea with his brother, Andrés, and together, they transformed it from a mere presentation platform into a thriving reality. When he is not immersed in business projects, Gustavo lives in Potsdam with his partner and his whirlwind of energy, his seven-year-old daughter. With an MBA from Texas A&M, Gustavo proudly identifies as an Aggie. He is also an avid dog lover and globe-trotting adventure enthusiast.

Johan David Barbosa

Quality and Compliance

Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the University of Cundinamarca, with 10 years in the formulation, development and execution of agricultural research projects, and with 7 years of experience in regulatory affairs for the cannabis industry. Research Professional at the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation – AGROSAVIA-, participating in the formulation, planning and execution of projects focused on the comprehensive development of sustainable production models for the cultivation of cape gooseberry in Colombia, with emphasis on the morphological and molecular identification of the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum causal agent of vascular wilt in cape gooseberry, Physalis peruviana. Likewise, in the advancement of the search for resistant plant materials from cape gooseberry Physalis peruviana to Fusarium oxysporum, as well as the design of a technological package that allows for integrated management of this production system. Technician for the Ministry of Justice and Law in the Subdirectorate of Control and Supervision of Chemical Substances and Narcotic Drugs, where he actively participates in the development of various activities such as the generation of protocols for the control and monitoring of the industry, generation of new policies (Decree 811 of 2021), bilateral advice on regulatory matters with the Governments of Peru and Uruguay, also on dissemination of current regulations in different academic spaces. At the moment; Co-founder and Director of Regulatory Affairs for Professional Growers, a company dedicated to technical and regulatory advice for the Cannabis industry in Colombia. Cultivation director of the Colombian Cannabis Center SAS company, dedicated to the production of both Psychoactive and Non-Psychoactive Cannabis, as well as the manufacture of derivatives thereof.

Paola Hernandez

Financial manager

Paola Hernandez Jaimes, Public Accountant, specialist in Statutory Audit and External Audit, with more than 10 years of experience in the preparation of annual reports, preparation and presentation of Financial Statements in different industrial sectors such as: Transportation, marketing, agriculture, services , among others. Able to analyze problems and formulate solutions, performing professionally with leadership and teamwork. Committed to precision and detailed analysis to optimize financial management and strategic decision making. Passionate about contributing my experience and skills to improve financial efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Dylan Morales

Cultivation Director

Dylan Morales was born on February 2, 2000 in Bogotá, Colombia. He grew up in a home where love of knowledge and hard work were core values. His mother is a teacher and his father is a mechanic, which significantly influenced his personal and professional development. From a young age, Dylan showed a great interest in nature and science, which led him to study agronomic engineering. During his university studies, he specialized in cannabis cultivation, gaining valuable experience in this field for a couple of years. His dedication and passion for cultivation drove him to always seek the best practices and continually improve. One of Dylan's greatest achievements has been ensuring quality processes at a cannabis company. This achievement has been a hugely rewarding experience that has taught him important lessons about leadership and production. Dylan Morales aspires to continue growing professionally and to contribute to the sustainable development and quality of the agricultural and cannabis sector, always looking for new opportunities to apply his knowledge and passion.

Luis Arevalo

Cultivator

Luis is a young man passionate about sports and high-performance competitions. He loves to learn new things and considers himself capable of facing and overcoming any obstacle. Currently, he lives in the Pinar del Río neighborhood, where he has grown up all his life and has become a youth leader in his community. Last year, he had the opportunity to work with cannabis thanks to the trust of Andrés Pérez, whom he considers like a father. Although he initially had negative references about cannabis, he decided to learn more about it and discovered that it was completely different from what he thought. This experience has been one of the most significant of his life, and Luis wants to continue learning and giving the best of himself.
